Photographing People ( New Course)
This course is designed for those wanting to learn techniques of Portrait, Glamour and Fashion photography using both natural light and flash. Students will be shooting various models throughout the course to learn posing, lighting, composition and getting the best from your subject.
we will be working both in studio and outdoors to give you a comprehensive package of skills to approach any people photography situation and get great images.
Week 1
The six pillars of great Portrait photography
Week 2
Lighting skills - Great images require great light
Week 3
Model shoot - Natural light outdoors
Week 4
Model shoot - Natural light indoors (window and doorway lighting)
Week 5
Model shoot - Using Flash on location - The huge benefit of flash
Week 6
Studio Lighting - headshots using soft light
Week 7
Model shoot - Full length fashion style in studio - including light painting
Week 8
Model Shoot - Advanced lighting techniques
Week 9
Editing your images using free software
This is a part- time course with one 2-hour lesson per week
Studio sessions will be from 7pm till 9pm on Tuiesday evenings
Outdoor and natural light model shoots will be scheduled for Sat/Sun during daylight hours
This course is available to anyone who has completed our "Basic Camera Workshop" or anyone who understands the manual settings on their camera.
